Can you imagine life devoid of water and electricity any time you need it. I just got my electricity back after some sort of fault and I could say it was close to being the worst umpteen hours of my life. It was comparable to my hands had been chopped off rendering me redundant. I couldnt connect to the BB, watch television, listen to Cds, boil up a cup of coffee, put a burger in the oven or put the central heating on. It makes me realize how lucky I am to be living in a country that makes these things available to me. I find it difficult to think of what it must be like for folks who dont have these luxuries. I know that they have other things that they can do such as cook on an wood fire. I will also add that I would love to be able to do is simply to be able to make my own electricity and not rely on energy suppliers. The problem is that where I live I dont think this is possible. I have looked into it already.
